USING JOBSIGNER
Terms of Service
The terms for your JobSigner account, subscription, and business tools.
Last updated 2026-10-27
1. Who provides the service
JobSigner is a product of ZOAK Consolidated LLC. These terms cover our website, web application, and mobile applications. Contact team@jobsigner.com for support, account questions, or concerns about misuse.
2. Business accounts
Use JobSigner only if you are at least 18 and have authority to act for the business and to share the information you provide. Keep account information accurate, protect your sign-in methods, and grant team members only the access they need. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Each person should use their own account.
3. Your business records
You retain your rights in the records you provide. You permit us and our service providers to process those records to deliver, secure, and support the features you use. You are responsible for your customer relationships, the accuracy of quotes/invoices, permissions to use uploaded content, and any notice or consent needed to share customer data. JobSigner does not become a party to your agreements with your customers.
4. Email and acceptable use
Send only legitimate messages about your business’s requested services or account/workspace activity to appropriate recipients. Do not send unsolicited bulk marketing, phishing, deceptive, or unlawful messages, or use the service to harass people, distribute malware, bypass limits, or access another business’s records. Sending and account access may be limited or suspended to investigate or stop misuse. Contact support if you believe a restriction is an error.
Keep workspace records and Assistant requests relevant to legitimate business services. Do not upload, request, generate, or share content that sexually exploits or endangers children; contains sexually explicit material; promotes hatred, threats, violence, or illegal activity; or harasses, impersonates, or defrauds someone. Do not share another person’s private information without permission or content that violates their rights. These rules apply to notes, photos, files, messages, and other content shared with any workspace member or customer, even within a private workspace.
Before creating or uploading records in the Android app, review and accept its service terms. Use the app’s reporting controls to report objectionable workspace content or a user’s behavior. Authorized JobSigner staff review reports privately and may remove or restrict content, suspend access, or take other appropriate action to address misuse. Contact team@jobsigner.com if you need help with a report or believe a restriction is an error. Reporting does not make your workspace content public.
5. The Assistant
The Assistant is optional. Before using it, review and accept the disclosed processing of requests and permitted business context through OpenRouter and eligible model providers. Its output can be wrong; review answers and action previews. Do not submit passwords, full payment-card details, or information you are not authorized to share. Stopping Assistant sharing does not recall information already sent to a provider.
6. Availability and activation
Features and limits may change, and we do not promise uninterrupted service or a response time. We do not start a paid JobSigner subscription without presenting its pricing and billing/cancellation terms for your agreement. Invoice payment collection is available only when explicitly enabled and configured. Existing unrelated Stripe subscriptions or arrangements are outside these terms.
7. Subscription prices and renewal
JobSigner subscriptions are billed per workspace in U.S. dollars. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans are paid upfront and renew annually until canceled. Your selected plan, total, interval, and first charge timing are shown before you subscribe.
- Starter: $47 per month or $470 per year, including 3 users.
- Team: $197 per month or $1,970 per year, including 10 users.
- Scale: $387 per month or $3,870 per year, including 20 users.
- Additional Scale users: $20 per month or $200 per year each, at the same billing interval as the base plan.
Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are shown before purchase when collected. There is no added card surcharge and no automatic usage overage charge; the optional AI receptionist bills minutes only as described in section 12. Each Owner, Office, or Field login uses a seat; customers viewing a shared quote or invoice do not. Plan usage allowances are shown on the pricing page and in your account.
8. Your trial and included website
An eligible 14-day trial starts when you create your business in JobSigner and we create its trial subscription with Stripe, on the Starter plan. No payment details are needed to start it. Creating an account alone, without creating a business, does not start a trial or grant workspace access.
You can add a payment method during the trial in Subscription settings and choose a monthly or annual plan. If you do, at the trial’s end your payment method is charged the selected subscription price plus any applicable tax, and the subscription renews automatically at the selected interval until canceled. Cancel before the displayed trial end to avoid the first subscription charge. If no payment method is on file when the trial ends, the trial ends and its subscription is canceled without a charge. Workspace access then stops until you purchase a plan; your records are retained. Online invoice payment fees still apply during the trial as described below.
A business receives one trial; restarting checkout or creating another workspace with the same account does not restart it. We use limited account and trial-eligibility records to prevent repeat trials and abuse. Trial and workspace access require a current, verified Stripe trial or active subscription. A longer onboarding schedule does not extend the trial. Any expressly agreed exception must be recorded in the subscription; a support conversation alone does not change its end date.
You can try JobSigner alongside your current software or paper records while your current website stays live. During the trial, we can prepare a preview of the included website for you to review. The website is published only while you have a paid JobSigner subscription. A trial that is canceled or ends without a paid subscription includes no published website or website handoff. Running alongside another service does not promise automatic data syncing or migration.
If you cancel after becoming a paid subscriber, you retain your domain and supplied content and may request an export of your content. Included hosting ends at the paid period’s end. An optional transfer of the website’s custom code and design carries a separate $400 processing fee and handoff agreement. This fee does not apply to retaining your domain or requesting an export of your supplied content.
9. Plan changes, cancellation, and refunds
Manage your subscription through Subscription settings in the JobSigner web application and its secure billing portal. If you added a payment method during a trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Cancellation stops future renewal; paid access continues through the current paid period. Upgrades take effect when the displayed prorated charge succeeds. Downgrades take effect at renewal, subject to the selected plan’s user and usage limits. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Cancellation does not automatically refund unused time in an already paid month or year. Contact team@jobsigner.com about duplicate or incorrect charges and other refund requests. We review requests individually; mandatory refund rights remain applicable.
Workspace use, including access to business records and the Assistant, requires a verified active subscription or an eligible Stripe trial. An unpaid, past-due, expired, paused, or canceled subscription, including a trial that ended without a payment method, does not grant workspace use. Account, subscription-recovery, privacy, and deletion controls remain available. Updating a payment method alone does not establish that an overdue invoice has been paid. Contact support if you need help recovering access or requesting your data.
10. Collecting customer invoice payments
Online collection requires an eligible, activated Stripe connected account. Customers pay your business. Stripe’s processing fees and JobSigner’s platform fee are deducted from your business’s payment proceeds. JobSigner’s fee is 0.5% for cards and ACH bank payments, with the ACH fee capped at $10 per payment. This does not add a surcharge to your customer’s invoice. Recording a payment received elsewhere does not charge the customer or incur this online-payment fee. Online invoice payment fees also apply during trials and discounted subscriptions, including approved internal subscriptions with no subscription charge.
JobSigner returns its fee proportionally when a payment is refunded. Processing fees retained by Stripe and any applicable verification, failed-payment, or dispute charges remain your business’s responsibility under Stripe’s terms. Your business remains responsible for its own customer-service and refund obligations. Bank payments may remain pending before confirmation and can subsequently be returned.
11. Separate website services
The separately sold website service has its own scope, pricing, and agreement, and no JobSigner free trial. Its order states commencement, renewal, cancellation, domain, and handoff terms. It does not grant a JobSigner platform subscription. These platform terms do not migrate, reprice, or replace existing standalone website or unrelated service agreements.
12. AI receptionist
The AI receptionist is an optional add-on that answers incoming phone calls for your business, takes messages and requests, and passes them to you. It answers incoming calls only and never starts calls or sends texts on its own; the only call it passes on is a caller’s own call, which it can forward to a fallback phone you choose. You turn it on separately and accept this section (version 2026-10-22) when you activate it. This section adds to the rest of these terms; where they conflict about the receptionist, this section controls.
Minutes and charges
- Team includes 250 minutes and Scale includes 600 minutes each calendar month. Months follow your receptionist’s time zone, and unused minutes do not carry over.
- Starter includes 30 free minutes once. Minutes used during a JobSigner trial count toward them. After they are used, Starter answers calls only if you turn on Extra minutes, at $0.25 per minute.
- On Team and Scale, minutes beyond those included are answered only if you turn on Extra minutes, at $0.25 per minute. Extra minutes are off by default and available on monthly and annual plans, but not during a trial. While they are off, the receptionist stops answering new calls when the month’s minutes run out, and calls go to your fallback phone if you set one.
- When you turn on Extra minutes, you set a monthly budget for Extra minutes (default $50, from $5 to $2,500), per calendar month in your receptionist’s time zone. When a month’s Extra minutes reach it, new calls past your included or free minutes are not answered by the receptionist until the next month or until you raise it. A call in progress continues to its end, and we don’t charge for minutes beyond the budget. We never charge more for a month’s Extra minutes than the budget in effect when they were used. Minutes already used remain payable.
- During a JobSigner trial, receptionist use is capped at 60 minutes and is not charged.
- A call uses minutes from when the receptionist answers it, starting with the opening notice, until the receptionist’s part of the call ends. A call that ends or is transferred during the opening notice, time on hold, and time after a call is forwarded to your fallback phone use no minutes. Each call is limited to 10 minutes. Each calendar month’s minutes are totaled and rounded up to the next whole minute.
- On monthly plans, Extra minutes are charged in arrears on your next subscription invoice. On annual plans, each calendar month’s Extra minutes are billed on a separate invoice after that month ends, usually in the first week, charged automatically to the payment method on your subscription, plus applicable tax; this does not change your annual subscription. If that invoice isn’t paid, Extra minutes are turned off until it is; your included minutes and the rest of your workspace are not affected by it alone. Turning Extra minutes off stops further charges.
- Subscription discounts and coupons do not apply to receptionist minutes unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Capacity, holding, and busy lines
The receptionist runs on shared capacity. It currently answers up to 4 calls at once, shared by every business that uses it and by our demo line, and that capacity is not reserved for your business. When every line is in use, a caller hears a short message asking them to hold and waits up to 60 seconds for a line to free up. If none does, the call is forwarded to your fallback phone if you have set one; otherwise the caller hears that the line is busy and the call ends. The receptionist does not take voicemail, and no audio is stored while a caller holds.
Your fallback phone
You may set a fallback phone number: a US or Canadian number you are authorized to receive calls on. We forward a call to it when the receptionist can’t take the call or the caller asks to be transferred. That happens:
- when every line stays busy after the hold;
- when your minutes or your Extra minutes budget are used up;
- while the receptionist is paused or not yet live;
- while we have suspended it for your business or turned it off for everyone;
- when a caller is outside the US and Canada, or a caller goes over the hourly limit for calls from one number or without caller ID;
- when the receptionist’s part of a call drops;
- when a caller presses 0 to be transferred, or objects to the AI or to the recording.
Without a fallback phone, the caller hears a short message and the call ends. Calls we forward show your receptionist number as the caller. The receptionist does not answer, transcribe, or summarize a forwarded call; we keep a record that it was forwarded, when, and for how long. Your fallback phone must not be your receptionist number or a line that forwards calls back to the receptionist, and we may reject or stop using a number that would send calls in a loop. We do not guarantee that a forwarded call connects or is answered. Charges from your own phone service for calls to your fallback phone are yours.
Calls without caller ID
On your line, the receptionist also answers calls whose caller ID is withheld or unavailable, under a lower hourly limit shared by all such calls to your line. For those calls there is no caller number to show you or to reuse: the receptionist asks the caller for a callback number. The receptionist answers only callers with US or Canadian caller ID or with no caller ID. Other calls are forwarded to your fallback phone if you have set one, or declined.
Your responsibilities to callers
You are responsible for giving every notice and obtaining every consent that the law requires for your calls, including for recording, transcription, the use of AI, call forwarding, and any follow-up messages you send. Every call the receptionist answers begins, before the receptionist listens to or transcribes the caller, with JobSigner’s notice that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is recorded and transcribed by your business and its service providers, followed by how to leave: hanging up, or, if you have set a fallback phone, pressing 0 to be transferred to it. You cannot remove, shorten, delay, or reword that notice, or play anything before it that says or implies the call is not recorded, and you must not instruct the receptionist to claim or imply that it is a person. Your own privacy notice must tell your customers that you use an AI receptionist and its service providers to answer calls. On request, you will provide evidence of the notices and consents you rely on, and we will make available to you the call records we hold for your business, including when each call’s notice played and how the caller responded.
Call content
Your business owns the content of its calls, including transcripts, summaries, and the details callers give. We process call content only on your behalf and on your instructions to provide, secure, and support the receptionist, acting as your service provider and processor. We do not use call content to train AI models or for our own purposes, except for de-identified, aggregated statistics and for security. Our Privacy notice describes the providers involved. We keep transcripts and summaries for 180 days and then delete them, or sooner when you delete them or ask us to. When the receptionist ends, you may export your call records for 30 days; after that, they are deleted. Forwarded calls are outside the receptionist: we do not record, transcribe, or receive their content.
Not an emergency service
The receptionist is not an emergency service and cannot contact 911 or emergency services. When a caller describes an emergency, it tells them to hang up and call 911 or their gas or electric utility. It does not give legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. Forwarding a call to your fallback phone is not an emergency transfer.
Acceptable use
Do not use the receptionist for outbound calls, robocalls, or telemarketing; to impersonate a person or another business; to collect payment-card numbers, bank details, or Social Security numbers; against emergency lines; or for any unlawful purpose. Do not set a fallback phone you are not authorized to use. Do not use it for high-risk or regulated purposes, and do not use it to collect health information: we do not sign business associate agreements.
Accuracy and availability
The receptionist uses AI, which can mishear callers, make mistakes, or miss details. Review its summaries and messages before you rely on them. We do not guarantee that it will answer, hold, or forward every call, including when its shared lines are busy, or produce any lead, booking, or revenue. It is provided as is, without a service-level commitment, and depends on telephone carriers and speech recognition, language model, and voice providers whose outages or changes can affect it. Some of those components may be preview releases that change or end.
Phone numbers
A phone number we provide for the receptionist is not your property. When the receptionist ends, you may ask us to port the number to another provider within 30 days; after that, we may release it. If you forward your existing business line to the receptionist, that line stays yours. Your fallback phone stays yours. Our receptionist help page explains how to forward your line.
Suspension and shutdowns
We may suspend or limit the receptionist for your business if its use creates legal, security, or operational risk, breaks this section or the acceptable-use rules, or goes unpaid, or if you do not provide evidence of required notices or consents when asked. We may also turn the receptionist off for all businesses to protect callers or the service. You cannot override a suspension or a service-wide shutdown. While the receptionist is suspended or off, calls are forwarded to your fallback phone if you have set one. We will tell you why we suspended it and, where appropriate, how to resolve it, unless the law or a security reason prevents us.
Your indemnity
You will defend and indemnify JobSigner against claims arising from your use of the receptionist or your instructions to it, including claims under recording, wiretap, eavesdropping, telephone consumer protection (including the TCPA), AI-disclosure, and consumer-protection laws, and including claims by callers whose calls were forwarded to your fallback phone. We control the defense of any such claim, and you will cooperate with it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, JobSigner’s total liability for all claims relating to the receptionist is limited to the receptionist fees you paid in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or business, including from missed, held, forwarded, dropped, or mishandled calls or messages, or from the receptionist stopping when your minutes or budget run out or while it is paused, suspended, or turned off. This limit does not apply to your indemnity obligations or to fees you owe.
Disputes
Any dispute relating to the receptionist will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as a class, collective, or representative action, and you waive any right to a jury trial or to take part in a class action for those disputes. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead. This section is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to this section
When we change this section, we will show the new version in the app. Features a new version introduces are available only after your owner accepts it.
13. Privacy and account deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains processing and retention. You may initiate account deletion from Account in the web or mobile app. Access is blocked after confirmation; we process deletion within 30 days and provide a completion notice. Only records that must be retained remain under a documented retention policy, with the reason explained. Shared business records and ownership must be handled according to the relevant rights and obligations; signing out alone is not deletion.
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate processes. If you have an active subscription, cancel renewal in billing management or contact support to resolve billing and workspace ownership. A deletion request must not be treated as completed billing cancellation until the subscription has actually been canceled. Support can assist after account access is blocked.
